After more than a year of speculation, global search leader Google is finally back in China.

After opening an experience center in Shenzhen in July 2016, Google's launch of a China page for locally-based developers (developers.google.cn) & the recent un-censoring of translate.google.cn they now announced that google.cn will be officially available in China from Monday on! (google.cn can already be opened but the search function will be available from Monday on).

Google has made several recent moves in China. In October 2016, Google made its first direct investment in the country since 2010, in artificial intelligence company Mobvoi (Click here to apply for an internship with Mobvoi).
