Violinkonzert e-Moll op. 64 Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor op.64

Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy , 3 February 1809 – 4 November 1847)
German composer Mendelssohn violin concerto was spent a full seven years to finish. We always love nostalgia, we love to look past the good old days. among them, personnel objects are blurred, s
hadowy, but  calm and elegant . Otherwise, who would have  written a song for seven years? a watch wearing  with half a life  ?  love one person with a lifetime?

After the Russian composer Glinka heard Mendelssohn's playing ,  said: "I really can not judge his talent." Berlioz ,French composer, also disagree with this German composer ,  and hastily perfunctory counterparts with one sentence : Mendelsohn  really can  make  others  like him  !

Suffering and frustrations are not necessary condition to produce a masterpiece , but too generous comfortable living could not help but make a musician addicted wherein forget to explore human nature unspeakable complex and disputes. No one denies Felix Mendelssohn's talents of being a composer and conductor, but he described those "sounds beautiful," 's melody, compared to Beethoven's, Berlioz's and even Schubert's works, are clearly too gentle and sweet,  no bitter, lack of  so- called  "dark spots on the sun," of  Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky .

This  twenty-five minutes or so  was written  with the freshest concerto  at that  time, no pause between movements, from start to finish in one go. Moreover, the tone is gentle and always tempting just like Mendelssohn's temperament , you can not see  any struggle and dull in it . Even though we can learn from that about six minutes of the adagio in  feeling a little melancholy taste, that taste is not  bitter, but mixed with sweet, like Xuzhimo(a famous Chinese writer) described a "honey sweet sorrow."

Yes, in that slow traveling and slow mail era, Mendelssohn was a slow singer . Sometimes I think his slow and his soft, compared with a Beethoven-like collision and extrusion  , it can show a wealth of classical music  world !
