Chinese people spend an average of three hours per day on their smartphones, ranking second in the world, according to a Germany survey. Brazilians top the table, spending on average five hours daily playing with their cells, while people in other countries including the US, Italy, Canada and the UK spend over two hours a day on their devices. For people in China, the smartphone has become a 'must-have' device and a daily necessity, providing convenience in various areas such as ordering food, shopping, socializing, hailing cabs and even making hospital appointments.
