Iran’s incumbent President Hassan Rouhani has been elected the new president of Iran on Saturday with 23.5 million votes out of more than 40 million votes. The 68-year-old became president after winning the 2013 election by a wide margin and is known for his active diplomatic policies, as well as his moderate vision to build Iran as an outward-looking country.
