the differences between some cd records and live performances

Some  cd records ( not all ) sound very accurate and correct, but compare with the live performances of the great virtuoso , they have differences . Do they considered a success? I think the contrary, should be regarded as failure. The successful  CD record is not  the one that is the most standard deduction  , but is that  faithfully record the virtuoso style, personality, and appeal of that performer  . Some classical music CD recordings, not in the studio, but in the traditional concert hall, during the recording, there are real audiences , which can also let virtuoso performances  create a better atmosphere.
