The dunes of wish 

(written on the early morning of the March 18th,2012,寫於2012三月18日清晨) by Elizabeth Dong

Wherever and whenever 

if the wish had any undying life,

 these tawny beaches will know how much of it;

It will return

as constant and as changeful;

If life was small,and needy,

if it has made human beings scornful,

forgive everything;  

the wish will straighten to soar like a flame,

in the great calm of it;

and if human wants to make a wish  with it

stand on the sea-ward dunes and call its name--


希望之丘

      假如希望有其永恆生命

   
      這褐色海灘會多了它的徘徊

      它將如海洋般永恆而萬變

      不改故常五色班地重來

      生命太貧乏人們固然要抱怨

       請不要見怪.希望平靜安寧

       它將如火焰升騰.人們如要許願

        請站上向海沙丘,呼喚其名
